Recipient of the UChicago-CNRS Joint PhD Programme in 2025, Calos Redondo Herrero is a specialist in Quantum Chromodynamics. He works on ultrahigh-performance superconducting RF resonant cavities at the Laboratory of the Physics of the two Infinities Irène Jolliot-Curie (IJCLab) and Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) in collaboration with Fermilab. From April 20 to May 15, C. Redondo Herrero was at ANL to work with Dr Tejas Guruswamy, ANL Physicist, on a numerical code to study the role of inhomogeneous impurities in cavities.
